History
In February 2002, my Friday night karaoke bar's host decided to quit hosting because she
had small children, was going to school, had a day-time job and hosting karaoke too was
just too much going on. The bartender suggested that I take over. The reason I loved my
Friday night karaoke bar was that there were never more than a half dozen people
participating. The short rotation meant that we all got to sing a lot more. After I took over
as host, it only took a few months that everything in that bar changed. It eventually
became the karaoke hotspot with standing-room-only in the bar. People loved my karaoke
show, even though there was a very long rotation. The show was through KaraokeNow,
which I have been hosting for ever since. Eventually the bar fell way behind on their bill
and KaraokeNow cut them off for non-payment. Afterwhich the bar chose a new karaoke
company to run their karaoke. Many people stopped going to that bar when I was
no longer hosting it. One of the newer hosts in the bar told me that the few remaining people who still go there
always talk about how good it was when I hosted it.

In August 2007, I invested in my own karaoke equipment. I constantly put most of the profits back into the
business. My library has grown more than 3 times since that initial investment and I am constantly adding more
and more to both my karaoke and DJ music libraries, usually from requests of people attending my regular gigs,
or the monthly new releases I have subscribed to.

At my regular karaoke gigs, I have several other hosts who attend. They, as well as the other participants tell
me that they have more fun at my shows than any other they've been to.

In addition to my own shows, I still host for KaraokeNow, and I am one of their first choice hosts, especially for
private parties. I have never had a complaint from any of my customers or any of KaraokeNow's customers
where I subcontracted as host. Nearly all customers tell me that their event went much better than they
expected.

In May of 2008, the owner of Marcel's (the best bar in the valley for karaoke) called me and asked me to do his
show on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Because I just had some very expensive advertising that had just
come out and would be running through the end of the year, I declined his offer as I wanted to be sure to
reserve Fridays and Saturdays for private parties. In August of 2009, the owners of Marcel's went from bar to
bar looking for the best host in the valley. They found me working at The Native New Yorker in Peoria and again
approached me to do their show. This time I took the position and am now hosting karaoke in the most popular
and best karaoke bar in the valley on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm until close.

I am the best host! And, I use the best equipment! I may not have every song available, but I do have more
than most. You can stop looking for a KJ/DJ because you have found the one you need, and at a better price!
